Subsequently, I pursued further education at Katsina College of Arts, Science, and Technology in Zaria, where I studied from 1976 to 1978. In November 1977, I obtained the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) and the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Certificate (IJMB).

Continuing my academic journey, I joined Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria in 1978. In 1981, I successfully earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the university. My educational pursuits didn’t stop there as I went on to complete an M.Sc. in Political Science at Ahmadu Bello University from 1984 to 1986. Additionally, I engaged in management courses for professionals and executives.

In 1989, I attended the Administrative College of Nigeria (ASCON) in Topo-Badagry, Lagos, where I completed the General Management Course (GMC). In 1990, I furthered my management training by participating in the Management Trainers Course (MTC) at Thames Valley College, now known as Thames Valley University, in Slough, UK. My commitment to learning continued with courses such as Privatization and Infrastructure Development Course in June 1993, conducted at the Center for Financial Engineering and Development (CFED) in Washington, DC, USA, and Public Private Partnership Training at the Institute of Public Private Partnership (IP3) in Washington, DC, USA.

To enhance my skills in managing people effectively, I completed the Managing People Well Course as part of Cranfield University’s Executive Management Development Program in both October and December 1998. Furthermore, I had the privilege of participating in the United States of America Department of State International Visitor Program (IVLP) in Washington, DC in April 2004, and the Development Leaders program at the John F.
